Early Childhood Classes

Closely follows the school calendar. 

Certified teachers, LCMS approved curriculum.

2012-13 Classes Offered: 

           M/W:  8:15-11:15

           T/Th:  8:15-11:15

          

 

(Typically taken 2 years prior to anticipated kindergarten entry.)
Text Box: Pre-School Program: For students who will be 3 years old by December 1, and are able to independently use the bathroom, the program focuses on socialization skills as well as academic readiness skills such as shapes, colors, counting, sorting, and concepts of print.

     M/T/W/TH/F:  12:15-3:15

 

 
Text Box: Pre-Kindergarten Program: For students who will be 4 years old by December 1, and are able to independently use the bathroom, the program focuses on socialization. It also focuses on the development of skills needed for kindergarten including beginning phonics, addition, and independence.

Text Box: Developmental Kindergarten: For students who will be 5 years old by March 1, but may not be ready for kindergarten, this program blends kindergarten and preschool learning goals. These goals focus on socialization and school preparedness skills such as beginning reading, early math, social skills, and scientific discovery.

(For older 4’s who need a challenge or  younger 5’s who need an additional year to grow before kindergarten)
